Our Steps to Wear Debris Analysis
Sampling
Separate, measured samples of oil or grease are extracted from each component by our Condition Monitoring Specialist or on-site personnel.
Analysis
Samples are sent to Mountain Peaks Diagnostics’ laboratory for analysis for ferrous wear particles, non-ferrous wear particles and contaminants detection and classification.
Comparison
Results are compared with previous samples to monitor and trend change in the component’s condition.
Reporting
Any potentially catastrophic results are immediately reported to you with appropriate recommendations.
